All my Artwork is a song of gratitude to my father, an ode to his unconditional love. Each illustration here transcends the paper; they are a symbolic of gratitude and admiration for him, who granted me the privilege of traveling during my childhood to so many places where geography is just only a word. My warm and protective embrace to my father, and may he find refuge in God’s arms.
I cannot say anything of great significance about myself; I only know that there are millions of things I am unaware of, and that a single lifetime is not enough to fully grasp the novelty inherent in a human being—or to discover what no one and nothing yet knows.
Members of our species have the capacity to project our thoughts into the distant future—something rare in nature, as most living beings with brains tend to focus their mental processes on the immediate needs required for survival.
In our case, however, we are concerned with what lies years ahead. This concern is not merely pragmatic—such as building a shelter to protect us for the long term—but also existential. That is why we strive to reaffirm our identity as the years go by, attempting to remain true to ourselves and doing our utmost to leave behind a legacy that outlasts us. Even so, there are things in the past that are blissfully unforgettable and never grow old.
We all harbor a universe of things waiting to be discovered. The advantage is that I am here to help you fill one of those voids.
Yours faithfully
